Last updated: March 12, 2026
What these terms cover

Personal health records, medical documents, imaging, medications, voice notes, family profiles, and case-study sharing.

AI-assisted extraction and chat features that help organize records but do not replace professional medical judgment.

Paid subscriptions billed in SAR on a recurring basis until cancelled in account settings or otherwise ended under these Terms.

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to your access to and use of Halaty's website, web application, mobile or embedded experiences, and any related services we make available.

By creating an account, signing in, uploading records, sharing information, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

In these Terms, "Halaty," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator making the Services available to you through the website, application, billing flow, or related notices.

2. What Halaty provides

Halaty is a personal health records platform. The Services may include document storage, medical imaging management, medications, voice notes, family profiles, case-study creation, secure sharing links, and AI-assisted extraction or chat features.

Features, limits, storage quotas, AI credits, and billing flows may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services.

Some features may be experimental, beta, or pre-release. Unless Halaty expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the Services are not offered with custom enterprise, medical-device, archival, or regulated-hosting commitments.

3. Eligibility, accounts, and security

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information for your account and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
  • If you believe your account has been compromised, you must promptly change your credentials and notify Halaty.
  • If you are using the Services on behalf of a child or a person who cannot manage the account independently, you confirm that you are a parent, guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to act for that person.

4. Family profiles and third-party data

Halaty may let you manage records for family members or other people. You may only create, upload, edit, or share records for another person if you are legally authorized to do so.

  • You are responsible for obtaining any consent, parental authorization, or other permission required for the data you manage.
  • You must ensure that recipients of shared records are people you intend to authorize.

5. Important medical disclaimer

Halaty is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, laboratory, insurance company, or emergency service. Halaty does not provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription services.

AI-generated summaries, extracted data, search results, chat responses, and imaging previews are for organizational or informational support only. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and must be independently verified by a qualified healthcare professional.

Do not rely on Halaty for emergencies or diagnostic decisions. If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

6. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of the records, files, text, images, audio, and other content you upload or submit to Halaty.

You grant Halaty a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, transmit, back up, and display your content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services, including to generate AI-assisted outputs that you request.

  • You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for all content you upload or share.
  • You must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or misleading material.

7. Sharing links and public access

Halaty may allow you to create share links, QR codes, downloadable exports, or password-protected pages that expose selected records to third parties such as doctors, family members, or other authorized viewers.

  • You are responsible for the share settings you choose, including whether a link is public, password-protected, or time-limited.
  • Anyone who receives a valid share link or password may be able to access the shared data until the share expires or is revoked.
  • You should revoke sharing immediately if access was sent to the wrong person or is no longer needed.

8. Plans, billing, and AI usage

Some features are free and others require a paid subscription. Paid plans may renew monthly or yearly, and the amount due may be charged automatically through our billing provider until you cancel.

Unless we state otherwise in the product or as required by law, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable.

  • Plan limits may cover storage, number of profiles, records, scans, shares, voice notes, and AI usage.
  • AI features may use credits, quotas, or fair-use limits and may stop working if those limits are reached or if the feature is unavailable.

9. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Services, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, or upload malware or harmful code.
  • Do not use Halaty to violate another person's privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or legal rights.
  • Do not misrepresent AI outputs as verified clinical conclusions or use the Services in a way that could mislead patients or healthcare professionals.

10. Availability, pre-release features, and backups

We aim to keep the Services available, but uptime is not guaranteed. Maintenance, outages, third-party failures, security events, or infrastructure changes may affect availability or performance.

You should keep independent copies of important medical records, original files, and source documents. Halaty is not a substitute for your own backup, retention, or records-management process.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, used the Services unlawfully, or exposed Halaty or others to harm.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.

12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Halaty and its operators, personnel, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from or related to your content, your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your unlawful handling of another person's data, or your violation of any privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halaty will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from medical decisions, source-document errors, data loss outside Halaty's reasonable control, third-party provider failures, or sharing choices made by you.

If Halaty is found liable despite the limitation above, Halaty's aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Services will not exceed the total amount you paid to Halaty for the relevant paid Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

15. Contact and complaints

If you have a complaint, claim, or legal concern relating to the Services, contact Halaty first at support@halaty.com and include enough detail for us to investigate and respond.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, or ownership of the relevant account, records, or share link before taking action.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless we specify a later effective date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
